Bala Hisar Fort is a historic fortress located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Positioned on a high mound overlooking the city, the fort has served as a military stronghold and royal residence for centuries, symbolizing power and defense in the region.
Originally built by the Mughal Emperor Babur in the early 16th century, the fort has undergone multiple reconstructions, especially during the Durrani and Sikh periods. The British later used it as a military base. It is currently under the control of the Frontier Corps.
